Each year LAM Christian Academy selects monthly character traits to focus on and develop our students' values and character. Each month these character traits are the center of Chapel as well as utilized in the classrooms to provide a unified teaching atmosphere to our students.  





For the 2016-2017 school year our Character Traits will be...

  • SEPTEMBER - Kindness
  • OCTOBER - Stewardship
  • NOVEMBER - Service
  • DECEMBER - Service
  • JANUARY - 
  • APRIL - 
  • MAY

The September character trait is Kindness!


Defined as:

  • the quality of being friendly, considerate and generous
  • a pleasant disposition
  • it is known as a virtue


Bible verse:
"A kind man benefits himself, but a cruel man brings trouble on himself."- Proverbs 11:17


How to show Kindness:

  • By being helpful to others
  • By forgiving others
  • Do not critize others
  • Be considerate to others
  • Have a nice disposition
  • Be nice to everyone

The October character trait is Stewardship!


Defined as:

  • the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care.
  • the quality of protecting something


Bible verse:

"God blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.  Rule over the fish in tihe sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.'" = Genesis 1:28


How to a good Steward:

  • Be responsible

  • Take care of God's world and eveything He gives us

  • Be a cheerful giver

  • Keep your room/area clean

The November/December character trait is Service!


Defined as:

  • the contribution to the welfare of others
  • a helpful act


Bible verse:

"The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, "Samuel! Samuel! Then Samuel said, "Speak for your servant is listening." - I Samuel 3:10


How to be a Servant:

  • Look for ways to serve others.
  • Help your parents around the house, without having to be asked.
  • Help people that are in need.
  • Be willing to help your teacher at school
  • Encourage others
