Hello Pre-K parents!

Below you will find the basic information that you need to know. Please take a look at the new snack schedule that I added that goes through the month of May. Please note the dates you will be in charge of snack, as I am not always good at reminding everyone when their week is. :)
If you ever have questions, please feel free to email me at mall@lamcda.org or grab me after class.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Mall

Homework:
Homework goes home on Fridays. Folders should be cleaned out of any "keep" items and returned with finished homework on Tuesday. Please encourage your child to turn in their folder to me when entering the classroom on Tuesday. This is to teach them responsibility and routine. Thank you for your help.

Uniform Issues:
Please remember that on Chapel Day (Thursdays) boys need to have a logo'd button down oxford under their chapel sweater. Knit polo's or winter boots are not acceptable on Chapel day. During winter months, remember no boots are to be worn during class or chapel time. Thank you for your cooperation with this.

Weather:
Please make sure your child comes to school each day with a warm jacket. The weather is cold out but we still go and have recess to get "the wiggles" out! Gloves and hats are needed lately. We will have recess until the temperature drops below 20 degrees or it is raining (let's pray we have a mild winter!). I recommend each child having a large soft bag to bring in their snow boots, snow pants, gloves, etc. in. We will be requiring "snow gear" once we get snow or the grounds get soggy. I will be sending these bags home daily for you to lay out to dry. We don't want a smelly room from "mildewy" clothes. :) Also, please make sure all items are labeled.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Class Snack List
Please bring a small healthy snack for the class during your week (all 4 days). Please no juice or drinks as each child should have their water bottles in their cubbies.
Please read ALL labels - no peanuts / nuts or dairy!
Fresh cut up fruit, fruit cups, veggie sticks & dip, snack crackers are all great choices. If there is snack left over, please let me know if you want it sent home or if you would like to donate it to the Extended Care classroom. They really appreciate the variety! :)

* Birthdays are special. If your child has a birthday that falls on a week other than their own, you are still welcome to bring a special treat to celebrate.

If you have any questions for me, please feel free to ask me when you pick your child up. I love hearing from you!!!
